Community Care Bring Christmas Cheer

Penticton, BC

Dec 15, 2010 Add comment
The members of the Community Care in Penticton, BC spread lots of Christmas cheer this season.

The Salvation Army received numerous hand made bed throws, and CCM Secretary Barbara Pettifer is seen presenting these to Jane Tench, the Administrator at the Haven Hill Retirement Centre in Penticton.

The staff at Haven Hill made up a quantity of "Sunshine Bags" with contents for single men. These were received by CCM member Ron Oates, and will be used by the Penticton Family Services operation.

Finally, we always present a poinsettia to each of the six homes we visit. (The four dementia cottages where we minister also receive attractive gifts.)
