Corps Refugee SponsorshipThe Salvation Army is a Sponsorship Agreement Holder (SAH) with Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. This agreement allows for sponsorship of refugees to be resettled in Canada through the Private Sponsorship of Refugees Program. The Salvation Army acts as the main sponsor and works with sponsor groups who undertake the practical assistance of settling the refugees in Canada.

The Salvation Army partners with family members already in Canada, community groups, and Corps to undertake sponsorships. There are three main sponsorship options available for any Corps to be involved in refugee sponsorship.
